WHY NEXGUARD OVER OTHER OPTIONS?

We entered this market based on common feedback from pro catchers that they weren't satisfied with the existing options. The do-it-yourself moldable options are not comfortable, not durable, are hard to form well, too rigid, too thick, and aren't effective for either catching or protecting against injury. Our new concept guards are pre-formed, fit snug, are thin, flexible and durable to provide more effective protection and more effective catching.

WHAT PRO PLAYERS USE NEXGUARDS?

We have a number of MLB catchers wearing our guards in just the first few months of introducing this new concept thumb guard in the 2024 season. We have never paid players and it's still early to ask most of them to publicly back us with their names. We appreciate the testimonials that we have already from pro players and fully expect after our first full season to have more players and more testimonials. WHAT IF I WEAR A BATTING GLOVE UNDER THE NEXGUARD?

Many players do this. Add a quarter inch to your hand measurement to get the right size Nexguard.

HOW LONG WILL A NEXGUARD LAST?

It depends on your amount of use and personal preference. Read our testimonials to see what players say about Nexguard durability.

HOW DOES IT WEAR OVER TIME?

The outer shell is flexible and has memory retention, meaning that it will break in and change shape. This helps the Nexguard mold to your thumb and be more comfortable. It is common that the adhesive holding the lining may peel away from the outer shell near some edges. Nexguards are formed by hand, not by machine, so you may notice cosmetic irregularities that do not diminish performance.

WHAT DO NEXGUARD LAWYERS WANT US TO KNOW?

This equipment may be used to help in preventing or reducing the extent of injury. No equipment can guarantee player safety from injury when participating in sporting or other events. This equipment carries no such guarantee.

WHAT IS NEXGUARD’S RETURN POLICY?

We accept returns of Nexguards that have not been used. Once you use the tape and/or catch with your Nexguard we will no longer accept a return. Returns are issued after we receive the item in new condition. We will refund the full purchase price. We do not cover your return shipping unless we have agreed to beforehand.

WHAT IF I WANT TO EXCHANGE FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE?

We can do that! Mail us your Nexguard in new condition (not taped or caught with) and we will mail you the new size. There may be a delay if our inventory is low. For international shipping there will be an additional shipping fee.

WHERE CAN I SEE OR BUY A NEXGUARD?

This website is the only place to buy Nexguards. There are no store locations.
